BIOGRAPHY
Tom Rigby is a Sheffield based saxophonist, workshop facilitator and choir leader. A truly versatile musician, Tom works with intimate jazz groups, adventurous contemporary ensembles as well as leading weekly choir sessions and facilitating singing sessions with refugees and asylum seekers.
Tom is an in demand session saxophonist having recorded with The Children of the State, The Life Aquatic Band, Papa Soul, house producer Dominic Miles and indie breakouts Cora Pearl. This range of experience means Tom is ready to record saxophone for whatever session you may require.
As a performer, Tom has played major UK festivals including YNOT, Tramlines and Latitude. He has also toured international venues in Barcelona, Saudi Arabia and Taipei
Before Covid-19, Tom regularly performed with Jazz groups for functions and events, bringing a smooth sound and a welcoming onstage presence. No matter what the event, Tom is adept at finding the right sound to fit your needs.
